Collaboration with Shamballa
We will design a high-end jewelry collection for men for A/W 2025 based on "Tibetan Buddhist symbolism". The collection will consist of at least 8 pieces of jewelry with variations, developed in Rhino and branded with storytelling in a digital lookbook.

COLLABORATION WITH SHAMBALLA
We were to design a high-end men's jewelry collection for A/W 2025 based on "Tibetan Buddhist symbolism". The collection was to consist of at least 8 pieces of jewelry, developed in Rhino and branded in a digital lookbook.
During this business collaboration we have used the Design Thinking Process
EMPTHAIZE
In the empathize phase, we have prepared a brand brief to gain a deeper understanding of the company. We have analyzed their vision, mission, competitors, target audience, products and other core elements. In addition, we have prepared a spidergram to gain a clearer understanding of what the competitors do better and what strengths the company itself has. Finally, we have prepared a SWOT model to identify what the company does well and which areas can be improved. This approach allows us to focus on the challenges and develop strategies that can further strengthen the company.

DEFINE
In the define phase, we developed a Point of View (POV) to clarify our design challenge. We described Nikolas as a caring, life-loving person who wanted a custom-designed wedding ring made of high-end materials that broke with traditional wedding conventions. To translate this insight into concrete design options, we formulated a “How Might We” (HMW) question. In addition, we identified design drivers to ensure that our design solutions accurately addressed Nikolas’ needs and desires.

HWM
HOW CAN WE DESIGN A LUXURIOUS JEWELRY PIECE THAT COMBINES THE TIBETAN BUDDHIST UNIVERSE WITH NIKOLAS AND JASMIN'S LOVE, WHILE BALANCEING THEIR DESIRES AND REFLECTING THE AESTHETICS OF SHAMBALLA JEWELS?
IDEATE
In the ideate phase, we began the design process by creating a series of 2D sketches, with each participant presenting 20 sketches. This method allowed us to evaluate, refine and develop our ideas, leading to more detailed and well-crafted designs. To better understand the size and shape of the developed designs, we created 3D sketches. This helped us visualize and fine-tune the proportions, ensuring that our design concept was accurate and functional. This approach is in line with the ideate phase of the design thinking process, where it is essential to generate and explore a wide range of ideas to find innovative solutions.

PROTOTYPE
During the prototype phase, we created drawings in Rhino, which gave us a better sense of the end result and what the jewelry would look like.
